Our roots go all the way back to 1971, when Josie wanted to decorate birthday cakes for her daughter.  Josie and her husband Zos founded this company and opened the first store inside their home in Wilmington, Ohio under the name of Kay's Cake Supplies.  In 1980, they opened our second location, known as GM Cake and Candy Supplies, in Xenia, Ohio, where Zos worked in education.  The online portion of our business began on eBay in March 1998, and a few months later, we launched our online store, Cybercakes.

Josie went to the Wilton School of Cake Decorating and had members of the Wilton family as her instructors.  Over the years, she has also ventured into floral arrangements and catering.  She enjoys traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.

JoAnn, Josie's second daughter, is Operations Manager of the business and usually found at the store with her adorable toddler son, Adrian.  JoAnn loves to bake and is very creative.  She and her sister Aileen, convinced their parents to expand the business into scrapbooking supplies, which are now sold alongside the cake and candy supplies and online at Memories 4 All Seasons (www.memoriesforallseasons.com).

Since inception of this small family-owned business, we have expanded our product offerings from cake supplies to candy and cookie supplies to party supplies and, ultimately, scrapbooking supplies.  Our mission is to help you celebrate all the special moments in your and your loved ones lives and then preserve those memories for years to come.
